Her grandparents were part of the first
groups sent by the Ecuador government to
establish a permanent settlement on Santa
Cruz. Monica is also a local artisan that
promotes and help the work of local women
that are head of their homes

FLIGHT DISPATCHER
Fascinated with airplanes from his
childhood, he became a flight dispatcher
for the local airline TAME, working for
thirty years until his retirement. Santiago
loves agriculture and has a small farm
where he grows100% organic fruits and vegetables.
VANESSA GALLO
ASSISTANT
Coming from a long line of
Naturalist Guides, Vanessa became
a Naturalist at 17, as a single mom
she has worked her entire life in
protecting the Galapagos National
Park and its wildlife; she speaks 5
languages and is considered one of the best
Naturalist in all of Ecuador.

CEO - GALAFIXER
Married to a Galapagueña, Roger moved from Texas. Along with his
wife Jessica, founded GALAFIXER with the purpose of creating jobs and opportunities in the Galapagos.
JESSICA THEISEN
OPERATIONS MANAGER - GALAFIXER
Passion for aviation and nature is in her blood, her
father was an Ecuadorian Air Force Pilot, her mother, first generation born in the Galapagos. Jessica
became a pilot as well and as an entrepreneur, she had the idea to create GALAFIXER as the first original
handling company of Galapagos.
VIVIANA PACHECO
TOUR COORDINATOR
From the first families that settle on this island,
Vivi is a single mother of two with studies in Diplomacy and Tourism. She has worked in tourism for the last
22 years, a local enterprenuer who knows everyone in the field and is an expert in coordinating the best
tours in Galapagos.

Born and raised in San Cristobal,
Joshelyn is head of her family. As
single mom, she is a hard-working
woman that with her honesty and
excellent customer service skills has
gained the trust of co-workers and
bosses alike to become supervisor of
the station.

Born in Manabi, Miguel moved to Galapagos to live with his grandparents at the early age of
eight; his love for aviation inspired
him to follow a career as flight
dispatcher; working at the airports of Baltra and San Cristobal for over 20 years.

ASSISTANCE
Aeronautical Technician, fell in love
with the peaceful life style of
Galapagos, remaining in San Cristobal
for almost 20 years.

From the first families that settle in San
Cristobal, Maria is one of the few women that belongs to the local fishermen cooperative; went to study in
Canada and besides managing the station, she continues working on sport fishing
ROBERT ALVARADO
PRESIDENT -GALAFIXER
Born in San Cristobal, he became a fisherman at 10 years
old. His life at sea took him to become Captain of a cruise ship. Always trying to better himself he is now
getting his MBA.
MARLENE AGUIRRE
CATERING MANAGER
Born in Santa Cruz she was raised on a farm. Marlene is a
widow with four children who knows all the natural foods and ingredients. She has become a local healer,
as she cures everyone through herbs and old remedies found in nature.

With a career in commercial aviation David is
always looking for ways to improve himself and the industry. He never takes No for an answer and is a problem solver.

With 30 years of experience, Cristhian
was the Director of the Airports of Guayaquil and Santa Rosa. A single father of two, he is also the Aviation Advisor for Galafixer.

ASSISTANT
Her career in commercial airlines gives Cindy the
expertise and knowledge to provide excellent service. As single mom, she works hard to provide for
her family.

SUPERVISOR
Just graduated from the European Business School, Sara got
her master degree in administration MBA. As a woman with leading aptitudes, she orchestrates perfectly
her station.

FLIGHT DISPATCHER
Working as flight dispatcher for 15 years,
he is well known in the industry, joining Galafixer from the very beginning, Santiago is a highly qualified
professional.

With a career in aviation for over 25 years, Edisson is
the most accomplished person in his job, perfection is his second name; with his honesty and charisma he
gains the trust of everyone who knows him.

With over 20 years of experience in the private
aviation, Paty is a detailed oriented person who delivers the best quality service.
NELSON SILVA
FLIGHT DISPATCHER
Being one of the first flight dispatchers of Ecuador,
Nelson became an instructor for CAA. After retiring due to disability, Galafixer gave him the opportunity to
go back to do the work he loves.

children. With a vast experience in aviation, she has worked for all the commercial airlines at the airport of
Manta.
